Home Visit as You Age in Place

Devon Hearing visits you in your home to test you and fit you with aids to help you understand your loved ones clearly.

Tony Napoletano will bring excellent hearing to you!  The Devon Hearing mobile clinic is owned and operated by Tony Napoletano, a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and PA Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist.  Why travel when you are homebound or in assisted living? Whether you have transportation challenges, desire a higher level of privacy or wish for exceptional personal service, Devon Hearing has you covered. Devon Hearing strives for quality care to provide you with personal visits, in the comfort of your home or assisted living for comprehensive hearing aid evaluations and more.

With our mobile clients, we also go above and beyond the traditional hearing aid sales environment. After your hearing exam, diagnosis, selection and custom fitting of your hearing devices, we provide excellent follow-up care at your site to ensure you are reaching your communication goals to help you live a more fulfilling and independent life. The first 3-6 weeks after getting your hearing aids are very important and we are there in person to follow-up with you as we know you will have questions and need more care.

Tony Napoletano, Owner, Hearing Instrument Specialist, B.S. in Electrical Engineering

Tony works in the Devon Hearing and Lansdowne Hearing clinics. His core focus is to help people hear conversations again which enhances their relationships! Tony has a deep understanding of technology and continually trains which is valuable in the areas of hearing aid fitting and programming. This technical expertise, the servant-minded attitude he learned as a parent, and his business experience have helped at the Lansdowne clinic and now at the Devon clinic. When he’s not working, Tony enjoys his family, working out, following sports, hiking, and his most recent entry into golf. Tony@DevonHearing.com

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

After getting his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering at Widener University, he spent a short time in engineering and software design, sales and marketing positions, and business ownership in a competitive intelligence firm. He then spent two years studying, apprenticing, and transitioned into running his brother’s Lansdowne clinic in 2015. Tony is a member of the International Hearing Society,  PA Hearing Healthcare Association and the American Tinnitus Association.

My family had been telling me for a long time that I needed to have my hearing checked. I ignored them until my son told me that there is a proven connection between untreated hearing loss and early onset of dementia in older adults. Tony responded to my inquiry right away and, during the pandemic, came to my house with his equipment and tested me at home. Needless to say I do need aids and now find that going without them is akin to not wearing my glasses. Bottom line, I would rather see AND hear.

Having Tony come to where I live was a great experience! He brings all of the equipment necessary for a comprehensive hearing test. He shows you the proper way to clean your ears and is very patient with his explanations. Upon receiving hearing aids Tony makes sure you understand exactly how to use and take care of them. I may not hear like a 21 year old (maybe a 30 year old), but it is wonderful to be able to converse with people and understand what they are saying.
